Osborne Arms
The Osborne Arms was situated at
139 Church Road.
This pub was present by 1872 when it sold the beers of a brewery called
Smith & Co. In 1873 it was leased by Truman’s Brewery of Brick Lane to whom
it was tied for the rest of its history. The pub closed and was demolished
in 1961 as a result of a Compulsory Purchase Order. |
