Carrington Arms

The Carrington Arms was situated by the Counter Drain and accessed via a concrete bridge. Opened in 1811, it is now used as a private house. Publican from the 1930s until closure was Ernie Fisher.
 
This beerhouse was owned by the Soames Brewery and sold to Steward & Patteson in 1949. It closed 2nd May 1961.
