The Blue Bell Inn was situated at 4-5 Ironmonger Street and is now in commercial use.  It is mostly timber framed and has a late 16th century origin.  The Blue Bell Inn was described as newly built in 1595. The Inn was subdivided into separately leased sections, most of which were used as shops with accommodation, during the 17th century. The carriage arch is an original feature of the inn. A rear wing was also added in the 18th century. The shop front is early 19th century. The interior layout is also 19th century. This pub closed in the 18th century.
