Stolen or strayed from Grantham in
Lincolnshire, about the 6th of this instant May, a white dog with a few
liver coloured spots, a Spanish Pointer, one of his ears flit with a bit,
goes somewhat lame. Whoever brings the said dog to Edward Ealhams at The
Ship in Grantham, or to Roger Wilford at The Rose & Crown in Sleeford, shall
have five shillings reward and reasonable charges. |

No 2 is the Rose and Crown Public
House. Range of mid C18 buildings of 3 storeys in red brick. Pantiles. Stone
plinth. No 10 is separate but similar, lower 2 windows to top storey with
sliding sashes as others. Round-arched passage entry. Nos 4 to 8 have
diagonal-set brick eaves cornice. Windows to top floor have sliding sashes
with glazing bars. Brick bands between storeys. 7 windows to range, others
hung sashes; ground floor windows boarded up. Small C19 shop window to No
l0. Stone plinth. No 2 has been cement rendered. 1 window without glazing
bars. Flat-arched yard entry. Right-hand section has parapet. 2 windows.
Band between lst and 2nd storeys intact, moulded band between ground and 1st
floors above modern windows. Rendered plinth. Right section included as part
of group. |
