The Plough was situated at 19 Bailgate. This pub
was present by 1791 and closed in the 1960s. It has now been demolished and replaced by retail
units. |

On 13th November 1841 Millicent Lyons, wife of
Francis Lyons, labourer was accused at Lincoln Quarter Sessions of stealing five bottles from Thomas
Baines, publican of The Plough. |
