The Lock Tavern was situated at 62
Waterside South. This pub was present by 1828 and closed in 1916. It has now
been demolished to make way for a moulding shop at the Sheaf Iron Works. |

On 11th September 1862
Thomas Stennett,
was accused at Lincoln Quarter Sessions of uttering three counterfeit half
crowns at the Lock Tavern & Hope & Anchor.
