In 1870 the landlord was W. Thornton. Between 1896 - 1902 the landlord was
Charles Newman and between 1906- 1923 landlady was Mrs. Ann Newman. In 1935
the landlord was Charles Newman. In January 1880 John Russell was fined a
total of 31s 6d or 42 days imprisonment for assaulting the landlord and
landlady Mr & Mrs. Wm. Best. |
