The Vulcan Inn was situated on Dallam Lane.

This was a tied house belonging to Tetley Walker's arch rivals Greenall Whitley and actually backed onto Tetley's brewery. It was bought out by Tetleys c1972 and by 1979 had been converted into Tetley Walkers brewery shop.
