The Toy Soldier was built on Deepdale Retail Park in 1998, a
few yards from Blackpool Road. It was very popular as it had a purpose built
kids play area attached and was next to McDonalds. It was demolished about
2006, a 'Subway' takeaway and 'Greggs' were built on its site.
