Josephine Benson	1947-1953	My Mother and father had Bridge End farm located between the pub and the river. The farm was flooded 3 times (on a flood plain). This was my father's 'local' where he played darts twice a week and he would ask my mum to join him for 'the last hour'. I would have bought it if I could. All my 6 brothers remember it. They would look through the window to see if dad was there, in order to keep out of trouble.
