The Neptune was situated on Strand Road. This was a very popular Boddington pub who's days were numbered when BAE Systems demolished their massive factory next door and moved to Warton and Samlesbury in 1994. It stayed open a few more years and eventually shut in the late 1990's. It is now offices and called Neptune House.
