The John O'Gaunt was situated at 66 Avenham Lane and can be seen on the extreme right of the above photo. This pub was demolished in the 1950s together with a large number of properties in the area.

Peter McLaren	1957/1958	I visited this pub several times, worked at Collisons Christmas Cards, just over the road, the beer was Cornbrooks, (pretty foul).
