The British Flag was situated at 190 Victoria Dock Road. This was a Watneys pub which closed in 2001. It has been reported as demolished but the last time I was in the area the shell of the building was still there although hidden behind an advertising board.

I visited the site of the British Flag in August 2010. The building is now The Immanuel House of Worship. There is still a pole with a Watney Combe Reid logo at the top, which would have held the pub sign, at the site.
