Barge House

Date of photo: 1926

The Barge House was situated close to the River Thames and was also known as the Old Barge House and the Ferry Barge House. Presumably the latter name was used because the pub was close to a ferry point. This pub was badly damaged during a 1940 air raid and subsequently demolished.
