The Buck I' Th' Vine was situated at 35 Burscough Street.
In the 1960s and beyond there was a fine huge painting in a frame of a stag in a vine on the front outside wall of the pub. There was an enormous minstrels gallery at the rear, a large portion of which was demolished to make a council car park!
