The Admiral Lord Rodney was situated on Thompson Street.

I am hoping to find out something about this pub because a friend used to live there, his father being the publican.   His family name is Whithead and he was there about 1947.   Frank now has Alzheimers Disease very badly and I am trying to find things (especially photos) to jog his fast fading memory.   Any info would be most gratefully received and a photo would be - well - just marvellous !
