The Kingsway was situated on Mosley Road. A very large pub on a roundabout at the top of one of the main arterial routes into the city from Cheshire and the South, this early 20th century pub closed in February 2018. Formerly a Greenall Whitley house and later a Holts pub, occupying a large site it was ripe for redevelopment and will be replaced by a block of flats.
