The Shepherds Bush was situated at 70 Erskine Street. This pub closed in 1906 and has now been demolished.

The Shepherds Bush was later a home where I lived until we moved to 76 Erskine Street about 1956. I, am my two brothers were born in the front room. There were remains of the pub when I lived there. There was a large slab tilted on an angle butting onto the toilet which had a runnel at the back on the flagstones for the urine.
