The Falstaff was situated on
Jenner
Close. This was a typical Hulme pub in that it looked like an early 1970s
built pub and was a Wilson's tied house This pub has now been
demolished and there is parkland where it used to stand. |

During the
mid seventy's my uncle John (Cowboy Cairns) was resident playing music there
Fri,Sat,Sunday lunch and night. I often joined him first on drums then
guitar. Great times! Great northern bitter and Red barrel. |
