The White Hart was situated on Mealhouse Lane.

This pub has now reopened.

In the 1970s the white Hart was one of the top restaurants in Chorley, the owner at the time was John Mead, it later became the Snooty Fox in the 80s and later went back to the White Hart and the owner then was Paul Mulhearn who also ran Astarte Catering.
