The Trafalgar Hotel was situated on Manchester Old Road. This pub closed in February 2013.

My great grandparents, John Stott and Amy Stott (née Scholes) ran this pub. My granny, Marian Hays (née Stott) worked and sang in the pub as a young woman. My father, Allan Hays, was born in the pub.
