The Railway Hotel was situated on Collard Street.

I was honoured to have been a regular at the pub from 1993 till 2011, I went through 3 or 4 landlords spending the last 10 or so years with Delia & Vic at the helm, my old Scooter Club Bolton Spartans Scooter Club who were once believed to be one of a few clubs still running as it was formed back in 1954, the club held meetings parties & even a yearly St Georges day weekender, & was also the party pub after a charity Scooter Easter Egg Scooter Rally, were 1,000’s of Easter Eggs were collected to be delivered by in it’s heyday over 3,000 scooters [all vintage Lambretta & Vespa Scooters] run by me & my ex
