Lamb Inn

The Lamb Inn was situated on Main Road. This pub closed c2002 and is now used as a Chinese restaurant. It was present by 1873 when the publican was Edwin Leaney.
 
Now converted to a private house.

My Great Grandfather, James Dearman, owned the Lamb Inn 1929 when my mother Freda Chalcraft was born u po stairs where she and her parents Phyllis and Fred Chalcraft lived. Freda died this week at age 90 in Albany NY, USA. I was in the Lamb Inn in 1995 when it was still a pub.
