The Old Sun was situated on Crete Hall Road. |

The landlord in the
1950's was Mr Ernest Howarth who was my Uncle. His wife/partners name was
Agnes and they had a son named Robin (my cousin), who was born c1945. I
stayed there for week in 1958/9, and remember it as a "very lively" pub
which was full of merchant seamen most evenings from the nearby docks.
I don't know when Ernie left the pub or when it closed. Ernie died in Dec
1990 in Lambeth district |
