Stayed here in a gracious, homey room on floor 2 with pub for men onl y
on the ground floor. Easy walk around the city of Canterbury and
wonderful hospitality. Not far to th e Canterbury East train station for
a ride to Victoria station in London. |

Navy. The landlords for most of this time were Tim & Margaret Loughnane.
Tim was a retired Chief Stoker, Royal Navy. Among his ships was HMS
"Manxman", a fast minelayer. |
