building details: |
House, formerly an inn, of two
building periods. c1600 timber famed and rendered bay with late C17 or
early C18 slightly projecting bay of brick, rendered, to west. Tiled roof
with end stacks. Two storeys, each with two C20 windows. Entry in C20 porch.
West gable end has bands at eaves height and between storeys and two
eliptical windows. The framing is visible on the interior and shows
similarities, particularly in bracing, with Pepys House and No. 28
Huntingdon Road. |
