Railway Inn

The Railway Inn was situated at 73 Walsworth Road. This pub in 1863 and was
renamed The Talisman on 29th March 1965. The final name change occurred
c1982 when it became Jeans, finally closing in 1985. It was demolished in
February 1991 with offices built on the site. The pub was also the home of
the Hitchin Folk Club, which moved to the Sun Hotel on Sun Street. |
