The Green Man was situated at 143 High Street. Although a modern pub, this McMullen’s Brewery house recalled the name of the old Green Man Inn, one of Barnet’s ancient coaching inn – I’m not sure if was built on the same site.  The premises are now used as an estate agent’s offices. Closed in 2006.
