The Red Lion Inn was situated on the A4103. This pub has now reopened.

I noticed that my public house is currently featured on your website as closed. In July 2007 we were flooded by 5ft of flood water from the nearby brook. It destroyed the ground floor of the property completely. Since then our pub has been stripped out, dried out and refurbished, all subject to an insurance claim.

Needless to say this has not been a smooth process, also hindered by E-ON who have still not completed the works to upgrade the pubs electricity supply.

The refurbishment works are now complete and we have a date for connection to the new power supply which should be completed by June 30th.

We anticipate to be open at the end of July provided there are no further unforseen delays.
