Dukes Head
The Dukes Head was situated on the corner of
Drapers Lane and Corn Square. This pub was demolished in the 1870s. In 2011
a new Dukes Head (JD Wetherspoon) opened in the early Edwardian post office
and telephone exchange diagonally opposite the pubs original site. |
