The Monument Inn was situated
at the junction of North Road (B4360) and the A4110. This pub closed in the
2000s. Now in residential use, faint outlines of where pub regalia was once
attached can still be made out. |

Customer. Drank there regularly was mine and my brothers
favourite local pub ,had a good jukebox and pool table and later a good
Sunday league football team which I played in cant remember the
landlords name but he had curly hair and looked Italian he was the chef
mainly and his wife was front of house |
