My mum and dad owned this pub for a couple of years, we
absolutely loved our time there, the living quarters weren’t that nice
and mum and dad spent along time trying to get the brewery to improve
the upstairs but they never did, so we moved on. But loved it. |

Came here as an underage drinker from nearby Winchester College. Our
housemaster allegedly was called by the publican saying- "I don't mind
your boys coming here as long as they can see over the bar" |
