The Swan was situated at 100 Copnor Road. This pub closed in January 2010. A planning proposal to demolish the pub and replace with flats is under consideration by the local council.

Norman Tomlin	1977/1978	I was the landlord of this Ind Coope pub (as it was then) and on my leaving it was taken over by Bass Charrington. Great pub & great customers. Two bars, juke box, pool room pool team and four dart teams, also a shove ha'penny board.
