The Star was situated at 59 North Street. This pub closed on 14th March 2011 and was demolished in 2014.

Dawn Rose	1979 to c1986	I now live on the Isle of Skye and was saddened to see a gaping hole on the site of The Star when I visited Havant last year. It was indeed a somewhat 'lively' pub with brawling often punctuating the evenings. But for all that, I look back on nights 'down the Rats' with affection and am sorry to see it gone.
