The Esplanade was situated on Fishermans Wharf, Western Esplanade. This pub is now due for demolition.

On Monday 3rd February 1992, the band Pearl Jam played here, before they were famous.

In addition to Pearl Jam playing here in 2006 or so we saw a brilliant packed out gig by Canned Heat! You could'nt get near the bar it was so crowded.
