The Three Crowns was situated on Ferry Lane on
the banks of the Thames. Until the mid 19th century there was a ferry
running from Rainham to Gravesend in Kent and the pub was originally called
the Ferry House.
It was demolished in the 1970's but may have ceased to operate as a pub
before then. There is a Three Crowns cafe near to where the pub was. |
