The Stockwell Arms was situated
at 18 West Stockwell Street, closing in 2009. |
|
This pub dates from the 14th - 15th century.
Currently it is undergoing extensive renovation by the new owners who are
restoring the building to reintroduce it as a great hall. The 14th century
interior will have two restored inglenook chimney's complete with original
meat hooks. It is due to reopen in May 2012, possibly with a microbrewery. |
