The Churchill Arms was situated at 18-20 Barrack Street.

This pub was present by 1796 as the Duke of York, a name it kept until 1980 when it was renamed the Churchill Arms.  It closed in 1998 and the premises now house a Chinese restaurant.  For the second hundred years of its history it had been a Truman’s Brewery house.
