The Star & Garter was
situated at 159 Moulsham Street. This pub was called The White Horse
in the 17th century, The Ship from the 1690s to the late 18th century, and
in the 19th century The Three Queens. It become The Star & Garter in the
1870s. The current timber-framed building was erected c1700 although the
brick frontage was added over a century later. It is now used as Bar Plus,
an LGBTQ-led bar. |
