I was in the Army and stationed in Colchester.Myself and
a few pals were regular visitors to The Star on Saturday evenings. One
of our lads was a good piano player and would get on to the piano in the
Public bar and play all the popular “sing along “ songs with ourselves
providing the vocals. The other patrons loved us - there were always
free pints coming over and,of course, the sandwiches and pies provided by
the Landlord.Happy days. |
