The Mountain Daisy was situated at 150 Hylton Road. The Grade II listed pub, dating back possibly to 1901 closed suddenly on 1 March 2025, at 24 hours' notice It's particularly notable for the original interiors that have survived largely unchanged since opening. It has a CAMRA 3 Star heritage listing. The property has been sold to an undisclosed buyer. A campaign has been launched to keep it as a pub. Local Councillors have given support to it being maintained as a community pub.
