The Blue Bells  was situated on the B6282. It was fully functioning in the early 1970s when I was a regular customer. It has been converted to residential use I believe. The landlord was a man named Joe, can't remember his surname but meals were served at lunchtime and in the evening. He cooked using a deep fat fryer for chicken and steaks!
