The Hare & Greyhound was situated on Durham Road North. There has been pub on site since 1850s, rebuilt 1880 by brewer J Nimmo and Son Ltd of Castle Eden. closed 2008 and converted in to outlet for Factory Carpets Ltd in 2010.
