The Rodwell Inn was situated at 35 Rodwell Road. This pub grade-II listed closed in 2018.

Listed building details:
Public house. Mid C19. Stucco, slate roof. The main hipped range is set across the slope, falling to N, and returns by a curved corner to the left to Franchise Street, and to right to Rodwell Street; includes No.9 Rodwell Street. 2 storeys, 4 windows; plain sashes to stone sills. In bay 3 is a broad arch over a glazed door with external shutters, and side lights with panels, under a large radial fanlight, all in a moulded architrave with keystone. The curved corner to the left has 6-pane sashes at each level with a plain bay beyond, stepped down to a one-storey wall with doorway. A high painted
plinth dies towards the pavement to the right. Return to Rodwell Street incorporates the former No.9, with a raking dormer,and at first-floor 2 bowed oriels with 4:4:4-pane sashes above deep plain sashes and a central arched opening to a 4-panel door with fanlight.
