The London Hotel was situated on Chapel Street, close to the junction with The Parade and Exeter Road. A Blockbuster store now occupies the site of the main hotel building which was demolished in the 1960s.At the rear is a huge car park, part of which used to be part of the hotel's car park. Ironically this public car park is still known at the London Hotel car park. Previously known as The London Inn, which was present in 1857.
