North Molton Inn

The North Molton Inn was situated on Bear Street (Bear is a corruption for Bar, a defensive position along the old Medieval Walls which ran along Boutport St.). This pub was demolished in 1872 to make way for the Thorne Memorial Chapel. The large entrance way in the end white house in the photo below is all that remains.
