The Newmarket Vaults was situated on Albert Street. This pub closed in 1971 and has now been demolished. Previously known as Market Vaults and Spencers Vaults. Publican in 1889 was Thomas Edwards, in 1935 Tom Frith. In 1935 Bass, Worthington, Allsopp and Sam Smiths sold.
