Queens Head

The Queens Head was situated at 25 Victoria Street.  This pub was present by 1857 when the publican was Thomas Green.  The mock Tudor exterior was added to the building in the 20th century. The pub was demolished in 1959 to make way for an extension to the adjacent shop.
