The New Inn was situated at the junction of Bridgegate and King Street. This magnificent old Georgian coaching inn was demolished to make way for Derby's Inner Ring Rd, about 1965. Bridgegate no longer exists. This Inn was the last in Derby used for horse drawn coaches.
