The Green Man was situated on Church Lane.
Run by Mary Taylor in the 1891 census. Her husband, George, had previously
been running the inn with her, but he died an alcoholic age 43, of
congestion of the lungs. They both had moved to Chesterfield from
Lincolnshire. He was formerly a wagon builder and wheelwright. |
